The Guru - Smt. Anupama Komaravolu

Under the guidance of her mother Smt. Komaravolu .Nagamani, a graded artiste in All India Radio who was trained under renowned musicians like Dr. Mangalampalli Balamurali Krishna garu , Dr. Nookala China Satyanarayana garu ,Dr.Nedunuri Krishna Murthy garu ,Sri Kavirayani Jogarao garu acquiring the vocal bani and performed several concerts across India, a recipient of many awards in Andhra Pradesh and across the country which include “Veena Vidushi”, for her excellence in the art, Anupama had an extensive training in Carnatic classical music both Veena and Vocal starting at a very tender age of three years. Inheriting the vocal bani, a unique style in playing the instrument from her mother, Anupama performed several concerts in All India Radio and Doordarshan as a performing artist.

Started performing at the tender age of 5 years and was the recipient of the famous “Bala Keeriti” award for her expertise in the art at that age. Anupama has also been trained under Sri MahaMahopadhyaya Dr.Nookala Chinna Satyanarayana garu. Been performing as an artiste at major cultural events held at state level and won the appreciation of famous musicians like Sri Mangalampalli Balamurali Krishna garu, Sri Nookala Chinna Satyanarayana garu, Sri Chitti Babu garu and others. Performed as a supporting artist along side of Smt.Komaravolu Nagamani.

Acquired immense teaching experience in Veena and Vocal since the past 16years. A distinction holder in Diploma in Music from the prestigious Telugu Univeristy.Worked as a Veena lecturer at Vasavi College of Music and Dance (India).Many of her students applied and qualified for the certificate and Diploma Examination conducted by Telugu University ,Maharashtra Mandali and All India Radio Yuva Vani programs. Been a judge to major music competitions all over the country. Worked as a Veena teacher at Anamika Navatman and also conducts music classes both in Veena and Vocal at home. Apart from her excellence in Veena, Anupama holds a Masters Degree in Software Engineering from a prestigious university in the United States and working as a IT professional.
